



Beth Ann Powers is an award-winning playwright, educator, comedian and theater artist. For the past three years, Beth Ann has worked as a drama teacher in the DC area and has written / directed several children’s theater productions with local schools and arts organizations throughout the region. In 2022 she completed her masters degree in dramatic writing from Carnegie Mellon University and was named a recipient of the Alphred P. Sloan Screenwriting Award for her screenplay “Saving Little Hope.” As an artist, her work has been seen on theater stages and at comedy festivals across the U.S. and internationally. By night, she regularly performs with her two sketch comedy teams, Rails Comedy and Chaps, and as part of the hit comedy duo, Binky and the Pain, featuring her and her fiance.
