Trey Lindsley is a guitarist, songwriter, and educator with a lifelong passion for music as both a craft and a form of emotional expression. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA, and grew up in Northern Virginia surrounded by music from an early age. Trey’s foundation was built through years of church choirs and two years of piano study, giving him a strong grounding in harmony and music theory.
Everything changed when he picked up the guitar at age 12. What began as curiosity quickly became his primary creative voice, a way to express emotions before words could fully do the job. Over the past six years, Trey has toured original music across the country with multiple projects, including The Riverside, The Lindsley Brothers, and TREYL, gaining real-world performance experience and a deep understanding of songwriting and collaboration.
As a teacher, Trey is passionate about helping students not only learn their favorite songs, but also discover their own musical voice. He believes music should feel personal, expressive, and joyful. He strives to create lessons that inspire confidence, creativity, and connection. If you’re looking to grow technically while also learning how to express yourself through your instrument, Trey would love to be part of your musical journey.
